Lease A Solar Panel Do you feel you really should make the move to installing solar panels on the roof of your house but see the cost as inhibitive. Now, in a few states around America you have the opportunity to lease solar panels which allows you to go green without having to make the big outlay that comes with it. For something like around $140 per month you can lease the solar panels you can have solar power installed and if you move before the lease expires you can either transfer the lease to the new owners, pay an opt-out fee or buy the solar panels outright. The savings you make by using solar energy compared to your energy bill beforehand works fairly close to the same, making the overall cost of the leased panels very small indeed. The downside for people leasing solar panels rather than buying them is that you are not eligible for tax credits like you would be if you bought the solar panels. Leasing solar panels is a great idea for those who have always wanted to convert to renewable energy sources but found that the costs made it impossible. It’s certainly an option to consider.
