VASER Liposuction Unveiled
A recent new development has been announced in the ever-expanding and much in demand field of cosmetic surgery. At a recently concluded media round table in Dubai, cosmetic surgeon brothers Drs Maurizio and Roberto Viel of the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery (LCAS) introduced the latest cosmetic surgery technology called VASER liposuction. VASER liposuction uses ultrasound technology and is minimally invasive and more precise than the traditional method of liposuction. it is a so-called gentle way of removing unwanted fat from the hips, thighs, abdomen, love handles, knees, back, arms, neck and chin. it is the next generation of ultrasound liposuction designed and used in America. In the presentation it was revealed that the technology is so gentle and specific that it was originally designed to treat brain tumours. 'What distinguishes LipoSelection is its ability to differentiate body fat from tissues that are best left undisturbed - such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissues. This latest generation of ultrasonic energy simply bounces off these healthy and important tissues while targeting and dissolving the less structured fat cells. Hence, LipoSelection treatment will actually remove the fat, but leave your other tissues intact. This allows your skin to retract smoothly and evenly after the procedure and minimises pain and bruising typically associated with fat removal. Most patients experience a fast recovery and return to normal activities within days', say the Viels. |
